  The management for 9&9 is the worst I have ever come in contact with. The location of this apartment complex was great, but other than that (and the ward), I had a terrible experience living here. They charged me $300 for a security deposit at the beginning of my contract, only guaranteeing I would get $150 back when my contract was up. However, at the end of Winter semester, they claimed they changed utilities companies (without notifying us residents) and didn't have record anymore of who paid what for utilities. So they decided to take out $60 out of everyone's check ($30/month), so I only got $90 back. Which was extremely frustrating, especially because that other $150 I paid at the beginning of the semester was used for who knows what. And even getting that check for $90 was an absolute joke, because they lied several times to me over the phone telling me the check was in the mail and I should be getting it soon, only to find out that they still were holding it in their office. With that being said, I didn't get the check until about 3 months after I moved out for the summer. Additionally, they charged an insane amount for parking every single month, and as mentioned in other reviews, the guest parking was practically nonexistent. Please DO NOT rent from this management company. There are several reasons why this place is not BYU approved--HUGE red flag right there. I ignored these terrible ratings and moved in anyway, and now I regret it more than anything. It caused so much frustration and wasn't worth it.

  We were contacted by a company wanting to charge us a licensing fee for a process we were using to sort photos. Jared was a huge help reviewing their patent, explaining to us what it covered and why we shouldn't have to pay the fee and responding to the other company. He saved us thousands of dollars in fees to the other photo company.

  Worst experience with their insurance!!! They lie to you about how much you need to pay, and they tell you that you'll be covered for something, later on they tell you that you were never quoted for that and need to pay more. I have no problem paying for what I need or want. However, being told a price that includes it, to only later find out that is incorrect makes me so mad!! Gladys never has an answer, explanation or solution for you.... only excuses. to be honest I don't think she knows at all about the insurance. Stay away for this company. They'll tell you you'll pay $230 a month then later and up getting a receipt through mail staying you need to pay $600

• Review of "Lighthouse Montessori Academy, LLC" at Provo

  I have had two of my sons (ages 5 and 3 yrs.) in the Lighthouse Montessori school for one year now, and they both love it! The Montessori program allows them to follow their interests, which keeps them engaged, and encourages them to go deeper than would be expected for their age. My five-year old has pursued his interest of tigers to the point of delving into their uniquely enervated teeth and my three-year old is exploring numbers and beginning to do simple addition on his own accord. They are both progressing well in their literacy as well, in addition to asking increasingly insightful questions about everything from mummies in Egypt to black holes in the universe. They love learning! Ms. Maraly is warm, flexible, astute, and compassionate with my boys, and helps them to address their needs as well as interests. For example, my five-year old has struggled with fine motor skills all of his life, and Maraly has made it a point to help him strengthen those muscles and develop those skills in a way that helps him feel success and see his own progress. He attends public kindergarten in the afternoon, and his kindergarten teacher remarked at our last meeting how much he has improved in his fine motor and communication skills. We certainly work with him at home as well, but I know much of this progress is due to Maraly's careful attention and insight. She sends me regular updates, including photos and videos of my children, so I know exactly what is happening and how they are responding. My kids love looking at the pictures with me and telling me about what they were doing at the time. They enjoy discussing school, and I feel Maraly has amplified our efforts as parents. Both of my sons say, "I love school!" on a regular basis, and their natural curiosity has flourished in this environment. I can't recommend Lighthouse Montessori highly enough!
